The area involved in the project is located between state road no. 23, provincial road no. 215 and the linking road that connects these. The lay of the land looks towards the Argentera Valley and the "Monti della Luna".

 The tourist residences and hotel complex is structurally developed following the conditioning morphological elements of the site and the possibilities of access.

The site slopes with a slightly convex shape that allows the residences to look down over the most panoramic part of the valley, while the possibilities for access impose a central location for the reception area and two side positions for the inside parking areas.

The size and the layout of the available area adapted to the construction requirements of the project and the width of the "sleeve", indicate that the most efficient construction would be in linear inter-connected blocks laid out along the level contours of the terrain.

This arrangement not only satisfies the functional requirements of the site and the project, but also the need to minimise the visual and volumetric impact of the constructions.

Basically the Olympic Village compound is made up of seven buildings that provide an ample area of general services and access to the ski lifting plants through a large atrium protected by a large covering facing south.

This atrium area offers independent access to the reception area, the restaurant, the ski services, the shopping centre and to the recreation and sports facilities.

From here, there is also dedicated vertical and horizontal access for the guests and services.

The reception area includes waiting rooms, lounges, offices, and halls, as well as the necessary services. The restaurant occupies two large rooms, one of which also has a bar.

The sports and recreation centre offers a gym of about 250 sq. m., a "counter current" swimming pool, a massage area, hydro massage baths, Turkish baths and saunas besides the changing rooms.

All the accommodation and residences are connected together and are provided with general services, so that guests can use the complex freely without having to go outdoors.
